The Institute’s newsletter is titled The Forester. It is a magazine style format circulated to over 1300 professional foresters. It is read by many more. The Forester is published quarterly ie end of March, June, September and mid-December.

The Forester is intended to:

• Foster communication and debate within the Institute
• Present information on forestry that is of practical use to readers
• Include newsworthy items and
• Give businesses and governments a means of access to the membership

Contributions or comments:

Material written to a newsletter format and pictures suitable for reproduction in black and white are invited. Authors are asked to strictly limit articles to less than 600 words for general articles and 1800 words for feature articles. In submitting your article you should advise if the article has been provided for publication to any other organisation. Contributions or comment should be forwarded to the Newsletter Editor. Full editorial rights are reserved.

Marketing Support Services:

The Forester accepts advertising and inserts for circulation.

Businesses, governments and other Organisations can also subscribe to The Forester for $35.00 (Aud/GST inclusive) annually or $10 per edition.
