International Forestry Students Association (IFSA)

The IFA encourages student members to participate in IFSA activities. The IFA has provided some financial sponsorship to IFSA to encourage students to participate in international forestry activities.

The IFSA is a registered charity organisation. It is run by student volunteers and is non-governmental, non-profit and with no political affiliations. IFSA represents 60 local and national forestry organisations in 40 countries.

IFSA’s main activities include:

  • Exchange Program

  • Village Concept Program

  • IFSA News

  • United Nations Processes

  • International Forestry Student’s Annual Symposium
