Graduation Certificate commemorates International Year of Forests

Employment and Remuneration Survey Report

Members of the Institute of Foresters of Australia (IFA) were invited to participate in a broad-based scientists employment and remuneration survey in April/May 2008. The survey was conducted by the Association of Professional Engineers, Scientists and Managers, Australia, (APESMA) and the Institute has endevoured to participate in the survey each year to track trends relating to foresters employment.

The Association of  Consulting Foresters of Australia (ACFA) was established in 1978 in response to the need to promote and protect the credibility and competence of Australia's consulting foresters.

Nowadays, both the public and private sectors need access to independent, objective and non-political assessments of current and proposed forest activities which are reliable and have the backing of a recognized professional association.
