Welcome to Australia’s National Forestry Masters Program
Forestry is changing, and foresters are in demand - nationally and globally. Professional foresters work around Australia and around the world, managing native and planted forests for conservation, environmental services, and sustainable production. They work in government and business, with NGOs and communities, and with farmers and other natural resource managers.
The National Forestry Masters Program offers graduate students from any background access to the best available teaching, field and industry experience and research opportunities in forestry across Australia.
Students enrol in degrees or professional development programs at one of 5 partner universities, and complete the core requirements of that university. Participating universities are the Australian National University, Southern Cross University, University of Melbourne, University of Queensland, and University of Tasmania.
