The IFA National Conference is being held 6-10 September 2009 at Caloundra Qld.

An exciting line-up of Key speakers has been engaged for the Conference including:
Dr Ian Bevege - Max Jacobs Oration.
Professor Roger Stone - Climate change scenarios.
Professor John Innes - Climate change impacts and adaption challenges: adaption needed today for tomorrow’s climates.
Penny Baalman - Climate change mitigation opportunities: sinks vs forestry.
Dr David Brand - The changing role of forests: state of development of markets for ecosystems services.
Kathryn Adams - Promoting innovation in forest management and processing: capturing the value of innovation - R & D for forest and wood product industries.
Nick Roberts - Reshaping the forestry agenda: the commercial future of plantation forestry in Australia.
Four field trips have be organised focussing on the conference theme, ‘Forestry: A Climate of Change’ and will cover hoop pine and catchments, coastal wallum and hinterland, landcare and native species management and timber utilisation and sustainability.
