Below is a list of activities being planned for the Division Annual General Meetings. If your Division is not listed contact your Secretary or Chair (see the contacts list on the left hand side of your screen) for further information.
Tasmanian Division
Date: Thursday 12 August 2010

Following the AGM, the Tasmanian Division is pleased to present the guest speakers for the night: Mr Kim Booth - MP and Greens spokesperson for Forests and Mr Julian Amos - Chairman of Forest Industries Association of Tasmania.

WA Division

Follwing the AGM a meeting of the WA Division will be held to present Certificates of Service to a number of foresters who have provided outstanding service to forestry over many years. In addition to this, Dr. Sue Moore, Murdoch University will be our guest speaker. The topic will be visual perceptions of forest management.
Informal meetings are being held in Manjimup and Kununurra. See below attachment for further information.
Queensland Division
Thursday 26th August 2010 (Date changed due to circumstances beyond Committee's control)
Venue: Irish Club, 175 Elizabeth St, Brisbane City (between Edward & Albert Sts)
Time: 5.45 pm Start
Cost: $15 covering room hire & first few drinks

Following the meeting Drs Tim Blumfield and Gary Bacon from the Environmnetal Futures Centre at Griffith University will present a talk on the Solomon Islands Agroforestry Project, being carried out by the University in conjunction with the Australian Centre for International Agricultural research (ACIAR).
SA Division including the Green Triangle Branch
The AGM's of the SA Division and GT Branch will be held at the Forestry PM on Thursday SA's office, Jubilee Highway East at 7PM on Thursday 26 August 2010
