Communication & its Role on the Future of Forest Management

Following on the success of the 2019 Comms seminar, this virtual seminar, held over three days, is designed to up-skill forestry professionals to improve the way we communicate with forestry stakeholders and the broader community on the multiple values and benefits to the community of sustainable forestry in Australia.

  • How to use Social Media (or develop a social media plan)
  • How to communicate with politicians
  • How to take great photos on your phone or iPad
  • How partnerships can support engagement and raise profile

Session Three: Future/Way Forward

  • Forestry messaging – singing from the same song sheet
  • The role of storytelling in improving social license
  • Collaboration opportunities
  • A vision for the future of Australia’s forest
