Date
: Wednesday 24 February 2021
Time: 12:00pm – 1:00pm (AEDT)
RFP CPD points: 1.0

About:

Follow the dreams of our fictional hero, Chloe, as she analyses her options to earn money from selling forest carbon. Is her planting eligible? Will she join a carbon project aggregation? Will she partner with a carbon service provider, or go it alone? Will she give up and say it’s all too hard? In this interactive presentation, the audience gets to choose the adventure! In doing so, they will learn all about the different options to sell forest carbon, and the barriers to implementation.

This webinar is suitable for farm foresters and plantation growers interested in learning more about the carbon market. It will also serve as a useful refresher for those already familiar with the carbon market. The presentation will conclude with an invitation to join an IFA/AFG working group on forest carbon, with the aim of providing suggestions on reform to the Plantation Forestry method (which is prioritised for revision in 2021), and to form a community of practice on carbon. Speaker: Zoe Ryan from Climate Friendly
