Innovation in Forestry Seminar

The IFA presents Innovation in Forestry seminar Building on the success of the Drones in Forestry event held in Melbourne last year, the IFA will host a seminar focusing on innovation in forestry,  topics covered will include:

  • The latest developments in drone use and mobile data collection in native and plantation forests - Mike Sutton, Forestry Corporation of NSW
  • Adaptive harvesting and regeneration practices in native forests - Tim McBride, VicForests
  • Harvesting performance monitoring in plantation forests - Andrew Tucker, HVP Plantations
  • Innovation in log measurement and payment systems - Darren Herd, Forico
  • Plus, other innovative techniques, strategies or uses of technology applied in various companies and organisations
