Dr Jim O’Hehir

Biography:

Dr Jim O’Hehir has spent 40 years in the plantation forest industry, beginning in 1984 with the Woods and Forests Department/Department of Primary Industries and later at ForestrySA in executive and senior technical roles, and Board and Chair positions at Tree Breeding Australia. He was appointed General Manager of Forest Research at UniSA in 2018, and Forestry Centre of Excellence in 2024. Jim has qualifications in forest science, including a Bachelor of Science (Forestry) from ANU and a Master of Forest Science and PhD from The University of Melbourne.
