In an environment of change to demands and management of native forests in the NE region of NSW, it is timely that Forestry Australia NSW branch invite a discussion of the current state of native forest management, social license, the science and emerging trends in management methods, and contribute to a vision of the future. The discussion will include updates on scientific research, principles of silviculture, social, economic and political influences as well as regulatory frameworks, all of which contribute to the current state of play.

Presentations by forestry scientists and professionals and discussion among stakeholders of native forest management will be held from 3:30pm to 6.00 pm, followed by dinner. Speakers include:

Dr Brad Law, DPI NSW
Prof Jerry Vanclay, Southern Cross University
Jeff Boyd, NSW Local Land Services

Dinner & Drinks
The evening includes presentations and two course dinner with a glass of wine. Other drinks can be purchased from the bar.
