Shakir Rahman

Biography:

Shakir Rahman is the Manager of Plantings and Plantations at the Clean Energy Regulator and a recognised expert in carbon markets and clean energy. Since joining the Regulator in 2017, Shakir has brought a strong passion for renewable energy and its critical role in reducing and managing emissions. He has played a key role in delivering major research initiatives for the agency, providing high-quality data, analysis and reporting across a range of regulatory functions. This includes contributing to the production of the Quarterly Carbon Market Report, supporting informed decision-making across Australia’s carbon and clean energy landscape.
