Rayne van den Berg

Biography:

As former Chief Financial Officer of Forico, Rayne van den Berg led a multidisciplinary team to develop Forico’s first three Natural Capital Reports – some of the first of their kind in the world – to articulate the value of nature in a financial reporting format.

Currently, Rayne is the Australasian lead for the Capitals Coalition and GIST Impact, campaigning for the of valuation of Natural Capital impacts onto Balance Sheets.

Rayne is also leading a Farming for the Future project with the Commonwealth Bank to incorporate the economic benefit of shelter belts on agricultural land into rural land valuations.
