Blair Freeman

Biography:

Blair Freeman is the Head of Strategy and Sustainability with Indufor, an international forest sector consulting firm. Blair is a professional forester with over 25 years of experience in providing advisory services on forest policy, strategic planning and natural resource management across Australia and the Asia Pacific. His consulting services have included extensive work on forest sector opportunities for climate change mitigation.

Blair holds a Bachelor of Forest Science from the University of Melbourne and an MBA from the Australian Graduate School of Management. He is an alumnus of the World Forest Institute, where he represented the Australian forestry sector under a Gottstein Trust fellowship. Blair is also a Director of Forestry Australia and regular contributor to the association’s position statements on forest policy and ecologically sustainable forest management.
