Biography:

With over 25 years of experience spanning environmental, financial, and economic roles, Raphael Wood offers expert advice to carbon market participants, including government, liable entities and project developers. Raphael is currently a Co-Managing Director at Silva Capital. He has an extensive background in the sector, having held key roles at C6 Investment Management, Market Advisory Group, the Australian Carbon Standards Association, and GreenCollar. Raphael holds an Advanced Diploma in Financial Services from Kaplan (Tribecca and SIA), where he gained expertise in financial products, services, investment, and risk management (1999–2008), and brings a deep understanding of Renewable Energy Certificates, Renewable Energy Markets, Carbon Markets, Carbon Pricing, and more, equipping him with the skills to navigate complex challenges within the energy and carbon sectors.
