George Konstandakos

Biography:

George is the General Manager at Sumitomo Forestry Australia, where he is responsible for delivering timber based sustainable developments in Australia. Prior to joining Sumitomo Forestry, George was the Head of DesignMake at Lendlease where he was responsible for delivering some of the most high-profile mass timber buildings in Australia. With a background in mechanical engineering, George started his career in the Automotive Industry where he developed a passion for Design for Manufacturing and Assembly and innovative practices. Since 2013, he has been involved in the prefabricated building industry where he made a positive impact on the built environment.
