About the Presentation

Presenter: Ian Blanden, Acting CEO & Head of R,D&E, Forest & Wood Products Australia (FWPA)

Ian Blanden brings over 35 years of experience in the forest and wood products industry, including more than 20 years in senior executive roles with major forestry corporations in Australia and overseas.

Prior to joining Forest & Wood Products Australia (FWPA) in April 2025, Ian was General Manager of Stora Enso’s forestry business in China. Throughout his career, he has managed world-class plantation estates and culturally diverse workforces in both Australia and China.

Ian’s expertise lies in leading commercial forestry and wood products businesses, with a strong focus on cultural and leadership transformation, governance, business ethics, health and safety, and sustainability.
