About the Lecturer

Mike Ryan 

Michael is a forest scientist with areas of specialty in forest silviculture and increasingly the implications of forest management on biodiversity conservation where he spends much of his nocturnal hours assessing for wildlife.

Michael is also a fire behaviour analyst in his emergency service role where he undertakes fire spread predictions in his emergency response role.
